Items Submitted!
Well, I sent off "Two-Steppin' To Floyd" to the Short Short Story contest. We'll see what happens there. I also submitted "Booking Woes" to Kearney Street Music. Hope they don't think I'm proselytizing too much. It's just kinda funny the things we've put up with concerning these other bands. It still boggles the mind.
I'm working on my Karaoke winner story-it's actually turning out better than I thought. I've invented some real characters there. I've also recovered a lot of my old stuff from Dad's old work laptop-everything ended up as WordPad files, so I've been converting. I'm just glad that I was still able to recover most of it.
I wrote the outline for my last two chapters of "the book." I can't believe I'm in the home stretch. And I will have it finished by the end of the year if everyone will just stay out of my way at home. I tried to write last night but couldn't-it really pissed me off.
But it will be interesting to see if I hear from those places. I need to e-mail Kearney Street and ask if they accept multiple submissions because I may send them the Karaoke story, too.
